Buckhead homes reward restraint. Long brick and stone facades, dentil molding, portico entries and mature hardwoods give us a great deal to work with, and the best result is usually the quiet one. We light the ridgelines and the gables, wrap the trunks that frame the drive, and finish the entry with oversized wreaths and tailored garland.
Parking and access are tight on many Buckhead streets. Our crew works from one truck, keeps the drive clear, and is off your property the same day in most cases.
No two displays are priced alike.
Every number follows the house: the linear footage of roofline, the height and pitch of the roof, the number of trees, and the wreaths, garland and landscape lighting you would like included.
We have returning clients who spend as little as $1,200 on a smaller display, and others whose best-in-class estate displays run to more than $20,000. The first year includes the materials, cut and built for your home. They are yours from then on, so every season after is discounted. The second year of a display costs less than the first and looks exactly the same. Design, installation, timers, maintenance, takedown, storage and a three-year warranty are all inside the seasonal number.
Whatever your budget, we know your display is an important part of your seasonal celebration, and we work to make sure it is beautiful, functional and meaningful.
What Buckhead homeowners ask first.
When do you install?
Installations begin in October and run through early December. We schedule your date during the design visit so you know it well in advance, and many homes are complete in a single day. Take an October date and your lights are ready well before Thanksgiving. Returning clients who install early are rewarded for it.
Do the lights come on by themselves?
Yes. Every display is set on a timer, so the lights come on around dusk and go off at the hour you choose. You never have to touch a switch. If you would like the schedule changed mid season, give us a ring and we will take care of it.
Who owns the lights?
You do. The materials are purchased in your first season and they are yours from then on. We design the display, build it for your home, install it, maintain it, take it down and store it, and the storage is part of how the warranty works. If you ever move out of the area, or if we fail to look after you properly, come and collect them. They are your property.
Can you use lights I already own?
We build your display from commercial-grade materials, cut and fitted to your rooflines. It is the only way we can stand behind how it looks and warranty it for three years. Those materials are purchased in your first season and they belong to you afterward.
What happens if a strand or a bulb needs attention?
One phone call and we replace it, almost always within twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Every display carries a three-year warranty covering the materials and the service calls both, so a bulb out in the middle of December is our problem to solve rather than a line item to approve. There is no finger pointing, because there is nobody to point at. We sold the lights, we installed them, and we stored them.
When do you take everything down?
Takedown begins the first week of January and runs through the end of the month. You do not need to be home. We remove the display, label and organize it, and store it at our shop until next season.
